About Diversity Compass
Guiding Leaders Through the Global Jungle Matrix
At Diversity Compass, we know that success in today’s interconnected world depends on more than strategy and numbers. It requires the ability to navigate cultures, build trust, and unlock the full potential of underrepresented talent.
Founded by Peggy Grüninger, a former corporate executive with decades of leadership experience in the international health sector, Diversity Compass is built on both professional expertise and lived experience. As a woman of African descent who has worked across Western and African contexts, Peggy understands first-hand the challenges of being underrepresented in boardrooms and global organizations and the opportunities that come when those challenges are addressed with vision and purpose.
Our Mission
To equip multinationals, underrepresented executives, women-led African businesses, and nonprofits with the strategies, programs, and support they need to succeed inside the Global Jungle Matrix.
Our Principle
One simple idea guides everything we do: Shared Power. Shared Success.
Why We Exist
We exist because sustainable growth and real progress can’t happen without inclusion at the core. Multinationals need diverse leadership pipelines and cultural intelligence to thrive in both mature and emerging markets. Executives from underrepresented backgrounds deserve the tailored support that strengthens their visibility and influence in global systems. Women entrepreneurs across Africa have scalable, world-changing ideas that merit fair investment and protection. And nonprofits working in Sub-Saharan Africa must be equipped to deliver programs that are accountable, innovative, and built to last. At Diversity Compass, we turn these beliefs into practice, guiding leaders and organizations toward one unifying goal: Shared Power. Shared Success.
“I know what it feels like to be the only one in the room. I also know the cost when companies see diversity as a number instead of a strategy. Diversity Compass exists to change that story, so underrepresented professionals can thrive, and organizations can achieve lasting growth through inclusion.”
